CBS/Paramount: You Can't Talk Trek No More!

CBS Paramount sued an independent fan film called "Axanar".
The small company raised a million dollars based on a 20 minute fan film.

CBS Paramount then sued "Axanar" citing copyright infringement. But dozen of other fan films are on YouTube and remain untouched. Critics cite the professional look of "Axanr", and cite the lousy JJ Abrahms Trek films that are made by CBS Paramount.

As a result, many words and phrases are to be removed from the common lexicon.
